Hilton Anchorage: “Needs a lot of work”

The staff tried hard to fix multiple problems on arrival. Non of the prearrival requests were accomplished. Check-in held until exactly 3:00. Several rooms available prior but not assigned to any honors gold members. First room assigned was below average. Second room was too small for the bed, only room for one night stand, no dresser, desk too large for the size of the room, tv stand/furniture too large for room. No room to open a suitcase without moving something else or on the bed. Bathroom was smaller then the one we had on the cruise prior to arrival. Room was not serviced on 2 of 8 days and we had to call down when we got in at 8/9 at night and ask for service. Blackout curtains need to be replaced with ones that fit the windows.
This room looks to have been part of a larger suite and should not be offered as a stand alone “Premium” floor room.
We were too tired to move a second time a decided to just spend as little time at the hotel as possible.
Will not return to this property.
